Brief work description:
The Head of Programmes ensures the successful delivery of HLA’s core programmes, such as the flagship HLA programme, IDEAS, and mentoring initiatives. This role involves overseeing programme content, participant engagement, and outcomes assessment.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Expansion:

Develop and implement strategies for domestic and international growth.

Explore new markets and opportunities for HLA’s programmes and services.

Initiatives Development:
-
Lead the creation of new initiatives, such as awards and recognition schemes.
-
Develop frameworks to celebrate innovation and excellence within the HLA community.

Partnership Building:
-
Establish and maintain relationships with international organisations and stakeholders.

Negotiate partnerships to support HLA’s expansion goals.

Innovation and Research:
-
Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities.

Drive innovation in service delivery and network development.

Requirements:
-
Must be a current or past HLA Cohort Director.
-
Attendance at monthly virtual SMT meetings (including evenings or weekends).

In-person attendance at organisational events, such as the HLA Cohort Directors Weekend in Devon.

Representing HLA at external events with adequate notice.
-
Leading virtual team meetings using tools like Slack, email, and internal apps.
-
Managing assigned budgets and supporting scholars, faculty, and team members.
