Brief work description:​
The Head of Programmes ensures the successful delivery of HLA’s core programmes, such as the flagship HLA programme, IDEAS, and mentoring initiatives. This role involves overseeing programme content, participant engagement, and outcomes assessment.

Key Responsibilities

Programme Oversight:

Ensure the design and delivery of high-quality educational experiences.

Maintain alignment of all programmes with HLA’s mission and goals.

Manage programme calendars for smooth execution.

Participant Engagement:

Oversee participant selection, onboarding, and progress monitoring.
-
Address challenges to ensure participant success.
-

Assessment and Evaluation:
-
Design frameworks to measure learning outcomes.
-
Conduct regular reviews and updates of programme content.

Collaboration and Partnerships :
-
Build relationships with external stakeholders to enhance programme content.

Integrate mentoring and development schemes into overall programmes.​​​​

Requirements:
-
Must be a current or past HLA Cohort Director.
-
Attendance at monthly virtual SMT meetings (including evenings or weekends).
-
In-person attendance at organisational events, such as the HLA Cohort Directors Weekend in Devon.

Representing HLA at external events with adequate notice.
-
Leading virtual team meetings using tools like Slack, email, and internal apps.
-
Managing assigned programme budgets and supporting scholars, faculty, and team members.
